River Kwai View Hotel Kanchanaburi

Excellent location. Nice staff. Good breakfast.

The facilities in the room are very simple.

Location is good

Not much choice of breakfast and foods like porridge, soup are cold.

Hotel is very clean and functional but nothing extra there. Room is very big but no views if you're on the cheaper B-building (except for some reason we could see the bridge from our window). Bathroom big and good shower. Location excellent next to the bridge but far away from the town center. The town is very cosy and relaxed with plenty places to eat, get massage or have a beer.

We got just what we expected so we didn't really wish for anything more luxury.

The location is excellent! Near to the train station and rooms facing the river offer a view of the beautiful bridge and river. You can see the train crossing the bridge from the balcony. Convenient store and cafes are within walking distance too.

Almost transparent door for the toilet/bathroom.

Great location right next to the bridge. Great views from the hotel restaurant.Room was large and well equipped with a big bathroom. Unfortunately not a great view of the bridge from the window, only rooms at the front get that.Breakfast was ok with hot and cold options. There is some hotel parking, but only a few spaces.

Rooms are looking a bit tired. Breakfast options are a bit limited.

The view of terrace is exceptional. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Little bit far from J.J night market but can go by walk.

The bathroom is little bit small and hard to turn on hot water. However, it doesn't really a big problem.

Great location. Beautiful view of the River and historic bridge. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Very full set breakfast: chicken rice soup (khao tom gai), with american style breakfast plate and fruit, with tea/coffee and juice. Location could not be better

The views are stunning and location great for the bridge. Right next door to Jeath museum too which is worth a visit, very interesting

WiFi did not work in bedroom, not really acceptable for the price paid - very strange logging in system with little bits of paper with different codes on them, despite going to reception twice and 4 attempts we could not get WiFi at all during our stay.As previous reviewers have mentioned, it is very noisy until 11pm (we were there at weekend) with banging disco music from bars across the river and noises from our neighbours due to very poor sound proofing in the rooms, but if you bring ear plugs you will be fine!

Location. If you have a room with a river view you look out on the famous bridge. The room also had a nice balcony overlooking the river.

The room had no safe. A bit outside the hotel's responsibilities, but the Thais have made the bridge a real tourist attraction, complete with very loud music in the evening. Luckily this stopped at about 22:00 PM.

The hotel was very clean. De bed was nice. The location was not so busy. The hotel is closed to tourist attraction places.

I upgraded to a balcony room and the view was lovely. Located next to bridge and across from a night market, it was also next door to a museum and walking distance to shops.
